Getting back right back to it
Where have I been?

Life Update
Hello! its been a while I think it has been like what a three month hiatus since I last posted. In that time a lot has happened in that span and I give all the details here shortly. First, this article will be more on the informal side just putting pen to paper. Also I want to say that moving forward I will try to keep these articles minimal and straightforward when it comes to hefty topics on the technical side. I really don't want to overload information in one huge chunk without proper explanation. I rather split it into different sections to really dive deep into the info at hand, some topics may require some may not.
So what I have been up to the last three months? Well first things first I officially earned my first CompTIA certification which was the Security+. I cant remember the passing score but I went in there confident that I was gonna walk out from that test certified. The first thing I did after seeing that "Congratulations" and taking in the moment was updating my LinkedIn page, resume came after. It felt amazing seeing that Security+ on my resume finally felt like a breath fresh of air in finding new opportunities in my degree. Which leads me to say that I secured my first industry job 5 days after! I am now a NEBS Network Engineer at Cisco! To even say that sometimes I can't even fathom but I've always stayed resilient and persevered through any doubts I had and hardships. I have already been here a month and I love it there's always something new to learn or observe while finally getting a tastes of the industry. I'm still gonna pursue more certifications of course, I'm not just stopping at Security+ I am going to really set myself accountable and do what I must to land my dream job of being a Network Security Engineer, whether at Cisco or not I am going to do it.
There you go that's been my life the past three months and it has been nothing short of amazing. Being the new guy though in a corporate setting made me feel like an imposter at first but I realized that I do indeed belong and I am committed to excellence. I will show up day in and day out and prove to myself that I have what it takes to be a pioneer or voice in the field. So what's next, now I am in pursuit of the CCNA certification. To put it into perspective its like chasing the godfather this is the credential anyone interested in the field wants to obtain to showcase their networking abilities. It's a long road but It's going to be a lot of fun and I will be looking forward to it. I will take you all on the journey refining my knowledge even more while also explaining it to an audience. I was exploring doing live hands on demos with some actual switches and posting them to YT, it's been a thought and certainly something I want to explore and do, I just got to acquire the necessary equipment for it. I will keep you guys posted on that, next article we will dive right into CCNA studying. Have a good day or night!
